Well we are busy doing our last minute shopping and are starting to pack for our first trip home with Jada. With gifts, Dubs and Jada our car will be full!

Tomorrow Jada will be 11 weeks old! WOW! She is smiling and making all sorts of cute noises. She is also focusing on her toys and enjoys looking at pictures in her books. She is starting to have a sleep schedule, going to bed at about 7 and waking up somewhere between 5:45 and 7! I am pretty proud of her :)

We are all looking forward to seeing most of you while we are in Kearney next week!

We have been pretty busy since our last blog. GG (Grandma Georgia) came out the second weekend of November, Grandpa B couldn't make it because of a cold. We just lounged around the house and GG gave Jada tons of snuggles and even got to give her a goodnight bottle :) So cute!

Jada has been doing lots of tummy time working on her neck muscles. Shes getting pretty good!

Thanksgiving was wonderful! My whole fam made it out to Denver! Everyone arrived on Wed. and stayed until Sunday. We played tons of games, ate lots of food and watched to much of football. We all have so much to be thankful for this year! Anyone who has a facebook account can see Tiff posted some cute pics of the weekend also. (apparently Grandma O was a little camera shy, we will have to take extra pics of her over Christmas!)
Since Thanksgiving we have started working on Jada's sleep schedule and moved her into her own room. It's a work in progress but she is doing pretty well. Its been hard on Al having Jada and I both crying it out. :) Poor Al!

We can't wait to go home for Christmas and see everyone! It will be here before we know it:)

Hi Jada lovers!
Jada wore this black shirt with a glow in the dark ghost on it for Halloween. No trick or treating for us this year but we are looking forward to next year. Zach and Brooke brought Al and I a sushi treat though...mmmm!
Great Aunt Paula stopped by on Thursday, she loved on Jada and brought me a yummy calzone! Funcle (fun uncle) Ryan and his girlfriend came to visit on Friday. I think I speak for everyone when I say I am interested in seeing how much trouble they will get in together :) Stacy and her mom dropped by yesterday and brought Jada some great clothes! Grandma and Grandpa Byrn will be here this weekend. Jada is such a loved baby we truly are blessed to have such great friends and family!
We had a doctors appointment this morning and Jada weighs 9 1/2 lbs already! She had her first shot :( Al went with us and held her arms down then I swooped in and gave her kisses! I am such a good mom!

Hello all! I apologize for not blogging more often but as most of you know life with a newborn is kinda crazy! :) We've been very busy since our last blog. It was 84 degrees the other day and we went on our first walk. We have taken several baths, I personally love bath time and look forward to big girl baths in the tub. Great Grandpa Lee and Great Grandma Marlene came to visit and Jada loves to be held by her Great Gma! Julie has been visiting since Tuesday and we are going to get Jada's Halloween outfit today.

Hello Blog followers! The day had finally arrived! Sunday October 4th at 11:30pm my water broke and Al and I were off to the hospital. After being admited we then spent the next 19 hours in labor. I dilated to 9 1/2 cm then the Dr. said the baby was transverse and we needed to have a c-section. At 7:59 October 5th baby Jada Lee was finally in my arms! We then spent the next 3 days at Avista Hospital in Louisville. Mom and Georgia arrived Monday afternoon and just left today :( They were so much help I really didn't want them to leave! Thank you gals sooooo much!!! For those betting on my delivery date Mom won and wasn't to far off on her weight guess of 8lbs 2 oz as Jada weighed 7lbs 14oz.

Thursday night Al dressed Jada up for the Husker game, and I think she was good luck because they won. As you can see she is a natural cheerleader! Go Huskers!

The pets are adjusting well to baby Jada. Dubs is a very curious boy and wants to sniff her constantly.

Things are going really great. Al and I are enjoying parenthood! We look forward to updating you with pictures and stories of baby Jada soon!

Byrn Pets

Hello all! In addition to Al and I celebrating our birthdays in Sept. Angel also is a Virgo. I can't believe she is 7 already! Wow! I am sure my human babies will grow just as fast!

Dubs had a busy weekend, celebrating the last day at the Broomfield pool. He really loves being in the water, and I am the proud mother following him around taking pictures and videos :)

The pregnancy is going well. I am starting to feel pretty uncomfortable though. I think I am having Braxton Hicks contractions!!?? We might be celebrating one more birthday this month!...hopefully

Hello blog watchers! As requested I am posting a picture of me while preggers. The other is a picture of Al and I on the trolley after Tiff's wedding the end of June. This week marks 37 weeks of pregnancy and we are pretty sure the baby dropped a bit. This leaves us both feeling nervous and excited. I believe Al described it best as the feeling you get at the top of a roller coaster right before the drop.

Welcome Friends & Family

Hello Friends and Family! Alan and I thought this was a good way to share pictures and stories with everyone. Welcome to our blog!

We are officially nearing the end of our pregnancy. This week marks 36 weeks! It has gone so fast! I have attached some pictures of the nursery. Al wonders if everything has to be pink and I say yes!
